Happy (late) easter

I know this post is pretty late for Easter. blame it on my laziness. But in as much as I wanted to post blogs as often as possible, I find it impossible to do so for some relevant reasons. First my camera is busted! Second I got sick (flu) for the past couple of days and was lying half dead in bed for days. I think those reasons were valid and relevant enough. lame excuses, I know~ hehe ;)

Anyways these were some of the pics from last Sunday Service worship / Easter Sunday with my friends and family. As usual, no solo shots for me when I'm with them

with my lil sister and Jeni

my mom and nephew, RJ

with my cousin, Israel :)

RJ's taking the baby steps ;p

Hope you had a wonderful Easter everyone. Thanks for dropping by~

Flare

I'm always glad, as every student is, I'm sure, to be dismissed earlier from a class. FYI I'm right now taking up my Masters Degree in Special Education at Angeles University Foundation, and I'm in my second to the last Trimester. Hopefully I'll be able to finish my MASPED by the end of this year. Fingers crossed.
Well, Sign Language class is one of the subjects I have now; a very interesting class to me, I must say. But since it's my last period after a whole tiring usual Saturday, I feel drained and exhausted by the time my teacher ends the class. Everyone feels overloaded with information. So it's always a good thing when we get dismissed a few minutes earlier than the usual (5pm) time.

It is quite obvious, though, how haggard my face looks in these photos, but of course this won't stop me (and Rommel) from taking some snap shots. We've decided to make it our weekly habit to take pictures after the class, or in between class breaks, before hitting the road home.
This one has all my Spring essentials: pale color palette, easy shapes silhouette, and that cool 70s vibe that we're all loving right now.

This one is awkward because of the trash bin lurking beside me, but it looks good, though. ;)

I think Rommel is in love with my pants. I said they didn't only look great, they were also comfortable that I felt like wearing pajamas with them. Best part: I only got them for less than $3:)

Trying to ignore my thoughts of you

Today(4/13/11 Wed) I, together with my high school friends, Jing and Ems, attended Baby Cedrick's 1st birthday party. I was supposed to get back home before 8pm for my evening classes, but I got convinced to stay a bit longer. Then I thought maybe I could skip just one of my 4 classes that night since I was already feeling groggy and kind of enjoying my time singing senti songs with them. But guess what. Instead of skipping just one class, I ended up skipping all of my classes. Yeah yeah, blame it on the "Bilog" and the biritan session with my girl friends. Ah! I even had this LSS the next morning.

'Love takes time to heal when you're hurting so much
couldn't you see that I was blind to let you go
I can't escape the pain inside 'coz love takes time...
I don't wanna be here, I don't wanna be here alone..." - Mariah Carey

Now why is this blog entitled as such? Well, from the thought itself, I know that you can tell ;) Or maybe I should change its title to Love Takes Time?? hehe

In Blue

This post's title is 'in blue' not just because I was in a blue dress but also because I was kind of feeling blue today. For what reason? nah~ never mind.

Anyways, this dress is one of the projects I had about a year ago(can't remember exactly when, sorry). I like denim dresses these days, so when I saw this very inexpensive fabric downtown, I never had second thoughts about buying it and making a project out of it. However, I regret buying cheap fabrics because they tend to shrink - most of the time...and so did this dress. sigh.

Bad internet connection today. :(
